Will SecS be The End of PJ Photography?

Yervant has started an intense discussion in the DWF PRO Art Forum about his experiments with Canon’s 5D Mark II video, and shooting video simply for succession of single frames- without any intention of creating a video for the client.

Yervant’s “how to” tutorial, and the discussion about the end of “capturing a decisive moment” have captured the attention of hundreds of DWF PRO Art members who are offering serious opinions. What’s yours?

DWF Featured Member Jessica Jones

This week's featured member hails from New Zealand and while she may have been flying under your radar that won't be the case after reading our interview.

Jessica Jones tells us "Do unto other..This is someone’s baby getting married, it’s a really big deal. It’s just so easy to do weddings every weekend, and forget how special they really are to the people experiencing them. The Golden Rule, if you want words to live by, I’d say choose those. They keep you honest, and always doing your best.". Read the Full Interview

Commercial Artist Turned Photographer Meghan Aileen

A small town girl from NJ living in LA Meg’s roots may lie in illustration but her photographs are timeless and nostalgic. Meghan tells us we should "Try to educate our clients without getting annoyed with them. Structure your business however needed to not get burnt out, it is very dangerous to not love what you do any more in this business I think. So doing projects you love and having boundaries for work hours is really important I think. Not that I have that figured out! It is a constant struggle!". Read the interview
