Memador Albums, you might remember them from our article “MEMADOR ALBUMS OR MEMADOR SPAMMERS YOU DECIDE“, might be CLOSED!
DWF members are reporting in this thread (login required) that memador has either merged with GP Albums or they have completely closed and GP Albums is fulfilling their existing orders in the interest of doing the right thing. Or it could be that only their US office is closed. Confusing right! I should note that at the moment these reports may be only conjecture as the stories appear to change based upon whom photographers are speaking with. Either way, we will be sure to fill you in as the facts come forward.
The good news is that regardless of their current status photographers do appear to still be receiving albums at this point in time.

Does that mean I won’t be getting 2 emails per week and a monthly friendly phone call any longer? Nice folks who take “NO” for “Maybe next week”.
Memador is based right here in Jerusalem Israel. As far as I know they are still in business. We use them all the time. If I hear anything different I will post it immediately.

As I understand from their rep they have stopped using the memador name and are going back to their old name panorama. But the business is functioning as usual as far as I know.

btw had no spam from them and the Uk manager we met at Focus on Imagaing event last year was really nice. Plus their customer service and contact has been excellent
