No pipe and drape in Zagreb Croatia for DWF Pro member Marko Dusak of Spinaker Graphics. Marko along with his wife and few friends teamed up and made an impression at their last show. This particular wedding fair is the “main wedding event” in Croatia and takes place over 3 days attracting nearly 15,000 visitors. Marko tells us that he handed out 1,500 exclusive catalogues and bags (below) over the course of the show.

So what about that booth. What is it made of?

The booth is 3×4 m long and 2.5 m high. The sides are made of drywall with wall paper glued onto it…

The floor had black carpet on it. Letters for the sign with our logo Spinakegraphics were laser cut from styrofoam and then coloured matte white. Above the booth was an aluminum construction where we had hung a baroque style chandelier in the middle, and 4 metal-halogen lights that were the main lighting for the booth.  The whole design of the booth is in neo-baroque style. It is decorated with floral pattern wall paper, baroque style picture frames and furniture that we brought from our showroom. My wife and I have developed the design modeled on our showroom (photo in gallery below). The company that builds the booths has set up the floor, carpet, lighting and plain drywall, and a couple of my friends and I have worked on the wall paper, the sign and the set up of the furniture. It took less than 2 days to complete.

Marko also tells us that the booth was an attention getter…

Our booth was really standing out because it was different, and many praised it as the best designed at the fair. Brides liked it too, and felt as if they were in their own living room. At the booth we presented our wedding books and albums (photos below), and were projecting slideshows of our best photos from Apple TV to LCD screen. During the fair, in partnership with Adria Media (the main organizer of the fair), we ran a creative workshop to give our potential clients a sense of our wedding photography style.

Well Done Marko (and team)! That is how you build a better bridal show booth.
