Could it be? Should it be? Might it be? … OVER! Can anyone else hear that choir of angels singing?
AT&T insiders are reporting that the iPhone exclusivity deal might end this Wednesday. Which, hmm let me see, corresponds with a reportedly huge announcement from Apple computers which is to take place on Weds the 27th. The rumor mill has everything from iLife to the iSlate/iTablet/iNetbook as well as the iPhone OS 4.0 and Aperture 3.0 being released. Could it also be the day that AT&T and the iPhone break up? Given the rumor that the proposed tablet will be tied to Verizon is Verizon in fact the most likely carrier to step up to the iPlate for the next at bat?

And, as with the last time these rumours were swirling, it was all just wishful thinking. At least in Canada we have the choice of three crappy cell phone carriers to chose from, though it truly comes down to looking for fine distinctions to determine the lesser of three evils….
