The town is classic Victorian England in its look and feel, complete with church, pub and fish and chips shop. About the only thing that ruins the effect is the signage, which are in Mandarin and English.

Needless to say the site is a popular destination for brides and grooms, looking for that unique wedding photo we discussed earlier.

Dubbed the I.P.S. it is exactly what it looks like.  A giant replica of your colon. (only kidding or am I…?) Really it’s a humongous plastic bag that you can shoot inside of. Could come in handy for those of you that are space challenged from time to time. For the rest of us we’ll just look at it as a unique oddity, cock our heads to the side and say…Wha?

• Watching the following televisions programs is research: TMZ, America’s Next Top Model, any wedding planning related reality fluff.
• The expensive shoes I buy are for “work:” I have to dress up sometimes, and really cute, comfortable shoes are expensive.
• Magazine subscriptions are necessary for education and inspiration: Vanity Fair and Architectural digest contain not only examples of great photography, but give me insight into the psyche of the American upper class, which someday may come in handy.
• It is impossible for me to design albums without high quality dark chocolate: this delusion is obvious.
• Facebook is an important marketing tool: I have gotten quite a few clients through social networking, and besides, I would feel very isolated if I didn’t have constant access to my top friends.
• I go to trade shows and seminars to find the latest in gear, software, etc: the s.w.a.g. and massive amounts of time I spend hanging out with other photographers is just a nice side benefit, in no way the main attraction.

Out yourselves people!  What lies are you telling yourself?  I am in no way suggesting a change in behavior.  I am merely suggesting that we be honest with ourselves about how we spend our time and money.
