In this video Scott does a great job telling the story behind his image “Quagmire”. I say well done and thanks for sharing. And Scott, if you’re reading this, how does one go about convincing a model that heading deep into a Florida swamp with a boat and some sketchy looking old dude is a good idea?
This video is a behind the scenes look at how Scott made the image “Quagmire.” He set up a scene with a beautiful woman and her unlikely companion in a Florida swamp at dusk. For lighting he used two speedlights which were hidden in the lanterns.

You have to make sacrifices for beautiful art. When Scott informed me of his vision, he inspired me to do what I had to do to get the shot. We have been planning this shoot for over a year. I guess a years worth of anticipation gave me the guts to walk through alligator infested waters, etc etc. Scott the image was everything and more of what we planned. Thanks for letting me be a part of it!

Scott is a truly inspired artist. His work is what helps our magazines stand out from so many others.
Thanks, everyone! And thanks for the post, Mark. I had worked with McKenzie before so I knew she would be passionate and reliable. As she said, I approached her early in the process and bounced some ideas off of her and she was immediately on board with the project. It was great to work with people who share the passion and I appreciate what she, Ed Tiley, and Carlin Trammel went through to bring the idea to fruition.
