When I look at this business card I see exactly what I want my clients to feel. I imagine clients holding it and rubbing it between their fingers. It’s tactile, it’s screams quality. It shouts “I PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL DAMMIT” hire me now!
The card was done by Sweet Peony Press and you can read a full review on the Rowell Photography blog.
NICE CARD!

If you really want to show some stones do a card in one font with no logo. I used to think it was a sign of the uncreative but ibsee now that is shows self confidence and stability.
Hey Tony
LOL I got a good laugh out of your comment.
The reason why we kept the card so simple is because it textured, so when you feel it, its like an experience in itself. Its a cotton paper, so its really soft. Plus we have a very detailed logo and we thought if we did anything more to the design it might look over done or even distracting. It is just a business card.
That is gorgeous! Nice job!
If that’s a raised texture like I think it is, I give it one week in a man’s wallet or woman’s purse before it’s dingy as hell. Hopefully it gets thrown in to a box of other cards where it stays as pristine as it is now.
the texture on the background is inverted so it stays pretty well in a pocket, the RP and the circle are raised, the only thing I would have done differently was use a more firm paper, the edges fray a little and lint sticks to the edges lol, but its still my fave business card I have had.
Tasteful. Its a good take really, minimalist but just enough detail without suffocating the eyes. My taste as well. I myself use an even more simple style as mentioned by Tony Bisson. Only 3 elements in Helvetica (perhaps Helvetica shows lack of creativity as well, but I’ve always liked the font
) Name, Profession and Contact No. Pressed in black. Cant remember the gsm tho and the stock material exactly. (Think of American Psycho Business Card Scene haha, classic). For the avg Joe, that is enough information given my profession. For the tech savy, Ive embedded 2 QR’s at the back of the card, one of which is my Contact Vcard which for most of us couldbt be bothered to enter, name, company, address, email, contact number, remarks into our phone… hence QR, and one leads to my website.
The design is very clean but it looks like toilet paper.
Colors and textures give out feels and this says bathroom.
