Modeled after an old school 110 film camera the digital harinezumi promises to take really crappy artistic photos similar in look and feel found in cheap plastic toy cameras. The specs:
- 2mp
- CMOS
- f8 35mm equivalent lens
- Stills 1600×1200 Large, 320×240 Small JPEGs
- ISO 100/800
- Movie 640×480 @ 25fps
- MicroSD up to 2GB
If you’re a lomographer what’s not to luv! I really really really want one of these to play with but I’ve not been able to turn up a US distributor just yet. (if anyone can find one stateside let me know) Until then you’ll have to buy one in Japan where they run about $150 US.
Want to see some photo samples? Look no further (yup there is a flickr group for that)
UPDATE: I found a few in the US of A at the International Center of Photography website.

Got mine a few days ago. Took it on an engagement shoot yesterday. Very cool, very unpredictable. Lots of blown highlights and crushed blacks though. Really fun video — looks a lot like Super 8 without the $20/minute price tag.
