DWF Pro members Jerry Ghionis and Melissa St. Onge Tirado have launched a brand new childrens charity officially dubbed The Soul Society, this not for profit, designed to help orphans in third world countries is off to an amazing start thanks to the very generous DWF membership attending the Digital Wedding Forum convention in Nashville who have raised nearly $14,000 thus far.
We all know that poverty exists and there are millions of people in the world in need of help. Perhaps it would be easy to dismiss the enormity of the problem as hopeless or feel overwhelmed by not knowing where to start. But what if you witnessed such poverty with your own two eyes or have even experienced it for yourself? Wouldn’t that make you responsible? What do you do when ignorance is no longer bliss? The answer is simple: “Help one soul at a time. Soul to Soul.” – Jerry Ghionis
The why is obvious, many of these orphanages receive very little or no government subsidies and the helping hand of The Soul Society can go a long way toward improving the lives of children living in third world countries.
Jerry and Melissa tell me that their first project is set to take place in Cambodia. Their lofty goal, to buy a new vehicle and begin building a new orphanage for the children over the coming year.

Awesome stuff Jerry and Co, though this shot does tend to have the same crazy look as your fans at one of your workshops.
