Last week, I wrote a little tutorial on how to put single pages back together and make them spreads, in Lightroom. You can see that tutorial here.

Now, how about the other way around? How to split spreads into single pages?

I wasn’t smart enough to figure out how to do it in another program, like Lightroom. So here, at Fundy SOS, we made a script that does this for you. Our good friends over at ProDPI liked it so much, we slapped their logo on it and they give it out to their customers also.

I won’t go into it very much, as it is super simple.

1) Install the script into the folder Photoshop>Presets>Scripts

2) Restart Photoshop

3) Run it through File>Scripts>ProDPI_halfItBatch

4) Point it to a folder and hit “Process”

5) It will create a sub folder called splits with all your pages….

You can download the script for free, right here.
