Actually he didn’t totally freedive it, nor did the video operator. I read on the original video posting site that it’s an artistic interpretation. He’s not claiming to have dived right down to the bottom without tanked air.

Your right he did not reach the bottom as he stated nobody can. But that should take away from the video capture and story telling using a still camera.
Does this make anyone else feel very uncomfortable? I’m gasping for air just watching it. . .weird!
