To that end, how can you get your images featured on wedding blogs? For help and advice, check out these tips on the Think Splendid blog from Vane Broussard of Brooklyn Bride fame.
Obviously these are all good ideas, but I’d like to add to number 4:
4. Know your audience. Every blog has a different aesthetic and not all of them feature the same type of weddings. Not all blogs even POST real weddings, so it is best to do your homework.
If you want to get a wedding published, it helps if it has “editorial content.” That means, some kind of unique feature that may inspire brides and attract more traffic. So, don’t submit every wedding to your favorite blogs. Just submit those that have truly unique features likely to attract the attention of the blog authors.
