Lensbaby is looking for a few good images! To publish…

Portland OR, is looking for your best images shot with a lensbaby. If they are good enough, and you get them in by Dec, 31 you could find yourself published in “Bending Your Perspective”

Submit your best Lensbaby photos for a chance to be published in a new Lensbaby book by Lensbaby Guru Corey Hilz, due out from Focal Press in the Summer of 2010. The book will feature ‘how to’ and inspirational content, along with galleries of Lensbaby photos by some of the foremost Lensbaby photographers in the world.

At least 12 of the submitted images will be featured in the Lensbaby book. Popular voting on the Lensbaby forum will be used to help decide one of the chosen images. Corey Hilz and Craig Strong will pick the remaining images. You can only submit two images for consideration, so show us your best Lensbaby work. If one of your images is selected, it could be featured in this beautiful book credited with your name – and you’ll receive a copy of the book itself.

So get off your tush and pop on the lensbaby. The RULES:

  • The photo must be taken with a Lensbaby SLR lens on a digital or film SLR camera
  • The photo should display the elements of a great photograph including interesting subject matter, good exposure, strong composition, interesting detail, beautiful light, storytelling, etc.
  • The photo should capture a moment or subject from a fresh perspective.
  • If shooting with a Selective Focus Optic, make certain your sweet spot of focus is appropriately sharp and well placed.
  • Do not submit images containing full nudity or graphic sexuality
