Here is the final version, so you can see what we are going for.

As you can see, we have one gradient going over multiple images in the layout. Now, we use our own Album Builder to design, which uses layer masks with images inside of them. If you design with Album Builder or another way with layer masks, great. And if you don’t, no worries, this technique will also work. You just need to start out with each image on its own layer.

Once you have your images where you want them, you just need to merge your layers together. We have a dedicated button for this in Album Builder, but you can also do it from the Layers Menu. Just choose “merge layers.” Here is a screen shot.

Then it is just a matter of selecting the layer (now one layer) and applying the gradient as a layer style. In the Layers menu, choose Layer Style>Gradient. Then adjust the gradient type and opacity to taste and you are good to go!
