The whole world seems to be going green, or at least enough people to create a market for green products. Wild Magnolia Design offers a line of wedding albums that will satisfy the conscience of earth loving couples and photographers everywhere. Magnolia Designs offer handmade square and horizontal albums, sizes 8 x 8 through 15 x 10, with a range of recycled, sustainable, and even vegan options. They also offer the growingly popular panorama album in 18 x 6. All albums are printed with archival inks that Magnolia Designs says will closely match what the photographer sees on their monitor.
Rather than an album company replacing their usual sources with “green” ones these albums are designed from the ground up with not only their environmental impact in mind, but their ability to last through generations. A legacy piece with a double legacy. While the phrase “high end” gets thrown around quite a bit these days a lot of products seem to get their name more from the pricing than the experience you get from the product. These albums look high end. Oh! And their site was navigable. Always a plus with a new company.

I have been using these albums for a little while now and absolutely love them. Becca from WMD is an absolute star to work with, always trying to make things better. The albums themselves are really beautiful and there is an amazing choice of cover options, endpapers and two different types of paper.
I definitely recommend these to all photographers including those who don’t specifically have a green focus. I believe we should all be looking to have a lighter impact on the Earth and these are a great way to offer that to your clients. Not to mention that the books have a really beautiful quality to them that is absent from big-company-made albums. WMD is my favourite vendor to work with
