We mentioned this change was about to take place a few weeks back in our article, “Facebook No Longer a Fan of Fans” but it appears th change has finally begun to take place as noted below:
Still curious as to what this means to you? They’ve outlined the new “Like” in their help section.

My page had this change made to it, but then an hour later they reverted back to fans.
Maybe they aren’t a fan?
…and now it’s back to like.
I can’t believe how ADD facebook is.
Ok, am I missing something? The ‘See all’ button is now present for ‘Friends who like this’ but is missing for ‘People like this’. I.e. I can no longer check to see who is a new fan and send them a welcome message. Is there a way around this?
Could Facebook please stop making changes for… say… 12-15 years or so. (I need at least that amount of time to figure out the new pages.) Thank you.
This change doesn’t make sense to me. I don’t want people who like me, I want people who are a little bit more committed than just “like”.
Also, as Jonathon said, I can no longer see who’s my fan… err, sorry, who likes me. They clearly have no idea what business actually need.
Next, they’ll have a button for “I Like You” and “I Like *Like You*”, “I Like You, But Not In That Way”, and a few months later, a “Let’s Just Be Friends” button.
