This has been around for almost a decade in Japan! Paying for a dring in a drinking machine, buying at convinient stores, movie theatres and just about everywhere else has been possible for a long time now in japan.
How about when your phone rings a cute mesasage each time you get within a mile or so from a store you purchased in previously. A little message pops up with some deals and info.
That has been around for over 8 years in Israel and some European countries.
And you do not need an iphone for it, almost any phone will do.
We in North America should get with the program.
