Head on over to iTunes for the iOS4 update even though all it appears to do is fix the PDF vulernability that was pointed out a few weeks back. (read if you don’t download pdf’s you’ll be just fine)
BTW I was only joking about how long it would take to jailbreak it. That’s been done already by redsnow for the iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 2G. (they’re still working on the iPhone 4 version.

FWIW, said “vulnerability” is exactly what jailbreakme.com exploits to jailbreak the iPhones.
For those who are jailbroken, there is a patch available to close this hole, but let you stay at the jailbroken 4.0.1.
