While the Earth Times article states that Hong Kong has just “emerged” from a year long recession I have no doubt that you could easily find a few financial experts that would that declaration of financial woe finality just a tiny bit premature. Regardless of what the fiscal future holds a survey released just this weeks shows overall Hong Kong wedding spending down just 3.3 percent while wedding photography bucked the trend rising 3 percent over 2008 numbers.
The average couple spent more than 29,000 US dollars on their wedding ceremonies and banquets in 2009, the survey of 1,800 couples found, only 3.3 per cent less than in 2008.
Wedding photography may just be recession proof! (if you live in Hong Kong)

Small percentages such as those mean absolutely nothing. Where did they get those percentages ? Any form of percentages can be skewed one way or another depending on the rater. Bunch of nothing.
