Jerry Ghionis is simply shameless and I love him. There Jerry I said it! I love you in a very awkward man love kinda way. Good news is that I’m not alone in my adoration of the incredible Jerry G. Having seen him speak now countless times I’m constantly in awe of his ability to engage his audience each and every time he speaks. Not to mention he’s one of the few singing speakers on the circuit with fresh content each and every time.
Did I mention he sings?
Jerry tells us in a recent DWF post that one of his fondest memories was his keynote presentation at the DWF convention some 5 odd years ago.
One of the fondest memories in my career is when I had the pleasure to present the keynote seminar at the DWF convention 5 years ago. That was only for a couple of hours. I can’t wait to present again in January for 8 hours and if it were up to me I would be there all night. I’m not joking! I believe the format to allow fewer gifted speakers share their strengths for an extended period of time is a wise decision. I really feel this convention is going to be the strongest to date. There is only one thing that I love as much as photographing and that is teaching. The interchange of inspiration, education and meeting new friends and cultivating the friendships I have already made is a beautiful gift. I have attended every DWF convention.

This is great – it is good to see someone with so much talent have fun and not take himself too seriously.
This post just goes to show you that when you have a speaker who is the best at what they do, AND is passionate about connecting with their audience via the podium, you have the recipe for an outstanding public speaker!
