Before I made the “switch” to Mac I was not computer compatible, but what little I did know was all PC. If someone who loves you left an Apple under your Christmas tree or Menorah this guide, “Got a new Mac for Xmas? Here’s your Apple A-Z” will get you speaking the Mac lingo in no time and save you the frustration that can be experienced when one goes to the dark side. I personally spent my first 2 Mac weeks wishing I could afford to throw the thing out the window, but 3 years later I am happily adapted. It can be like learning a new language, but being bilingual has many rewards.
Check out the guide, then take a long nice walk along your pop up Dock, make friends with Finder, and remember, they are applications, not programs.
