Last week, we looked at how to breath new life life into your textures with High School Senior albums (see here), today we’ll do the same thing with the details page of a wedding.
With every wedding, pages 2 and 3 (and sometimes pages 4 and 5 also) are dedicated to the details of the day. For this particular wedding we were lucky enough to shoot at the View Point Inn, the location of the first Twilight movie. We wanted to capture the charm of this small country inn along with the beautiful flower arrangements which were chosen for the day.
The flower shot on the left was chosen for their photo proof box, so I wanted to feature it in the design. The flowers on the right were for her brides maid.
Using a clean, classic design, I kept all of the elements together on the page. I used the same texture in the background as in my previous post. But this time, I placed a blue multiply layer on top of it.
With each wedding album, the first page (and sometimes pages 2-3) are dedicated to photos of the location. Then on the following spread or two, we concentrate on the details. These pages serve to set the scene of the wedding and transition well into getting ready shots.
I hope this gives you some inspiration for your own wedding album designs.
