If we’re to believe a recent USA Today poll nearly 40% of Americans agree that marriage as we know it is becoming obsolete. Well what the heck does obsolete mean exactly when applied to the idea of marriage?
Their expert says that marriage might be taken more seriously but it’s no longer dominant. I guess that means less people are getting married because they feel they have to under pressure of adhering to social norms. I’m not sure how that will effect our industry as I’d say that most of the “Let’s get married just because we should” crowd were probably using a Justice of the Peace and probably weren’t out shopping for photographers.
