About every other day I curse myself for not getting an iPhone when I had the chance. That damn “Free Blackberry Curve” deal was looking’ sweet at the time and now Verizon owns my cellular soul ’till 2011.
Fear not! The Droid is here, and not surprisingly the number of apps available have shot to over 30,000.
PhotoFlux – Flickr and Google Maps in one. Run the app and it will immediately pull photos from Flickr related to your location.
PicPush - Have multiple photo accounts? PicPush takes your images and posts them to your favorite photo sharing sites (Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, +more) automatically.
Tickr – Short on inspiration? Enter a term and *poof!*, related Flickr images are magically transported to your phone.
Photoshop for ‘Droid – Put a little magic photoshop dust on there before you send your 5MP image to your favorite social networking sites. Crop, rotate, color-correct, and add effects.
The Android, black-rimmed glasses and turtleneck not required.

you forgot the best part of the ‘Droid, Karlo…the fact that the “phone” part of it actually works and doesn’t drop calls all the time…because there’s nothing I like more than trying to coordinate with my second shooter at a wedding, and having his iPhone drop out on him…
Yes, I’ve heard rumors about an iPhone release for Verizon, which would be game-changing. I think the issue is the AT&T network, especially in large cities.
