I must agree, the bolts on the bottom of the camera are not the best. I exchanged them for the flat manfrotto plates that came with my tripods allowing me to set my cameras down flat when needed. The harness is a bit hard to adjust, and in my opinion could use one more horizontal strap across the front to keep things absolutely still. It did save my back and neck compared to regular straps.
