Designed to be an alternative to the “Traditional” business card (or to bail your sorry butt out when you forget yours at home) photo business card allows you to share your contact information (via email or Facebook) on the fly along with your photos. Does this qualify as a “Green” business card since you’re not wasting paper products?
The Photo Business Card App is $1.99 in the iTunes App Store.

Sounds like a cool app and if you word it right good way to collect email addresses for follow ups. But at least until it catches on I don’t see it replacing a business card. There is this one technology I can’t wait goes viral is called a mingle stick. http://www.minglestick.com/ it allows you to share all your social media sites and “business card” info on the fly with other people who have mingle sticks.
I wonder if they see it coming to other mobile carriers?? Limiting it just to Iphones doesn’t seem very smart, there are a lot of other smart phone styles out there!! I can’t wait to see if it comes to Verizon for Eris’s
odd it was just released today
What’s odd about it?
That looks very useful! I also like the idea of using it for follow-ups with potential clients. I’m going to have to see if this (or something like this) comes out for the Blackberry. No ATT (and no iPhone) service in my area.

Does it have to have the hideous “PHOTO Business Card” logo thing on what gets sent?
Not sure I’d want people thinking that was my brand!
Will this be availabe for androids? IPhones are so 2008.
Sherri,
We’ll work on it for other platforms. Apple just makes it so easy to release apps. It is very developer friendly in that way. The droid market is a bit more wild west.
We’ll do what we can.

Ben,
Hideous is a bit strong… But, no you put your OWN logo on it. Adding your logo is just two clicks away, just load it in your photo library.
