Open Source Keys is a project started by Rob & Lauren Photographers, two DWF Pro members who in their own words want:
…to help other photographers program an xkeys keyboard for essential programs like Lightroom, Photoshop and InDesign. This project is currently in it’s infancy and will continue to develop (hopefully with support from the photographic community
In order to use OSK (you must be freaking crazy if you think I’m typing that out over and over and over again) you’ll need an X-keys PRO from PI Engineering. It’s the same popular add-on keyboard used by many 3rd party software “key” solutions. Rather than me go into detail I’ll just let Rob tell you more about the OSK project in his own words.
Right now the project appears to be bit more OSX friendly but as it’s open source nature applies we should see working Windows versions soon. DWF Pro members are already discussing the OSK project.
