This is a truly amazing story about a South African photographer named Peter Magubane. It is probably one of the coolest stories I have seen in a long time. This is what photography is all about people. This is photojournalism at its best.
The next time you complain about your problem bride, this guy spent 586 days in solitary confinement for taking photos. But he didn’t let that stop him. he said, “photography is important, because no one can question it, but they can question you about what you write.”
