This is an update on the impossible project story we first reported on last November. It looks like those crazy Polaroid fans have succeeded and will begin to actually sell film later this week.
These “NEW” Polaroid packs will work in the Polaroid SX-70 and 600-Series cameras and will set you back $21 for eight B&W images.

I’m dying to try this B&W. By all accounts, it looks very tasty indeed!
Does anyone know if they’re going to come out with anything that will work with a Holga-roid back? I got one right before they discontinued the film and only got to run one film pack through it, boo.
Katy,
They make a couple of films for the Holga-roid backs. Anything that says it for Polaroid type 100 should work, but they are pricey. $35 for a pack.
Fuji makes the FP-100C(Color) and FP-100B(B&W) which should work also. The Fuji color film actually has more vivid colors than the original Polaroid film. Plus they are only about $12 for a pack of 10 shots. The impossible project film leans towards the retro look as they are still fine tuning their processes.
I’m excited about Polaroid coming back as a have a small collection of SX-70 cameras and pack film cameras. Digital is the future, but there isn’t any reason why we can’t keep the best of the analog stuff.
