Are you a PPA member, did you get an email from PPA saying your credit card was declined? If so you’re not alone. Multiple DWF members are reporting receiving the exact same email so we decided to investigate.
Dear (PHOTOGRAPHER NAME) (PPA Member Number: XXXXXXX),
Thank you for your membership in the Professional Photographers
of America. Unfortunately, your credit card payment has been declined.
This may be the result of an entry error. Please contact our Service Center at 800-786-6277. You may also contact us via email at csc@ppa.com. We are sorry for any inconvenience. We will be unable to continue your membership unless this matter is resolved.Please let us know how we can be of assistance.

A PPA customer service rep insured us via telephone this morning that the email was the result of a “system glitch” and that we should expect an email shortly from PPA membership services explaining what exactly happened.
