A bride and groom planning to get married at the bottom of the Grand Canyon suddenly had their plans changed by the arrival of President Obama. The President’s arrival in Las Vegas imposed a 30 mile “no fly zone” extending from McCarren Airport which shut down the helicopter operation that was supposed to fly down the couple, two friends, the officiant, and photographer.
The couple was subsequently married at “A Special Memory’s” wedding chapel on 4th street.
- Charged Batteries? Check.
- Formatted Memory Cards? Check.
- Planning Against the Arrival of the Leader of the Free World? Ummmm…..WTH??

Oh my gosh, and I’m guessing there’s really no way they could have known ahead of time. I mean geez….not like you plan to clear your wedding at the GRAND CANYON w/the White House…man alive.
