Very interesting results from a video field test using the famed Red One, the popular Canon 5D Mark II and the very affordable Panasonic Lumix GH1 camera in video mode.
The footage shot by Byron Shah and Jason Ensler is all kinds of good. But I think what we can really see is that…
- Perhaps the Red One while capable my be a bit overhyped
- The 5D MK II is very capable of creating some excellent video
- The Lumix was a freaking surprise out of nowhere for me
- When comparing all 3 there really is not a standout in the crowd

I apreciate this production/examination. I personally see more blur in Lumix (why not focusing first?) And I see little more sharpe and colorful image in Canon (Am I wrong?)
