The details are little more than specs on a page at this point but apparently the Pixel Enterprise Limited LV-W1 Wireless Live View Remote Control (holy mouthful Batman) hooks to any camera with an AV Output and allows for remote viewing as well as full and half shutter release via the shutter release socket. If it works as advertised it could be the perfect tool for those of us who want to “tuck” an unmanned camera somewhere during the ceremony. Here are the details:
- LV-W1 image transmit is using 2.4GHz frequency channel, 3 specific channels.
- Shutter control is using 433MHz frequency channel (available to use another frequency channel). 3 specific channels.
- Operating distance range is up to 80M (200FT give or take)
- The display is protected by coating; it’s not easy to get scratch.
- 3inch TFT display, adjustable the brightness .
- Resolution: 960 X 240
- 3.7V 1200mAh lithium battery. Working hour: Transmitter — 8 hours or above. Receiver — 5hours or above.
- The receiver is usable to connect the camera directly, just like CT-122. Use VD-936 (optional) to connect and transfer the live view to PC.
- Compatible for camera which included AV Output and shutter release socket.
- Charging method: via charger or USB cable for charging the battery inside the device.
Ebay price is $335. Depending on how well it works that could be a big “OUCH” to the wallet.

I’ve been wondering how long it would take until someone made a product like this. Not too expensive if it’s the exact device you need (for a remote camera shoot such as on a suction cup camera holder outside a helicopter or car).
Though, not something I’ll need for wedding photography :/

Depends on how adventurous a wedding photographer you are, actually.
There was another thing like this that was just announced, too. I for one would love to get my hands on something like this.
And it doesn’t have to be on the outside of the helicopter; what about in the sanctuary, somewhere high above the couple. Or down behind the officiant? Or another place where you couldn’t put a second shooter, but would love to put a camera….
