The RadioPopper RPcubes have been the talk of the RP community for ages now and they are close to hitting market. I’ve actually held one in my very own hands. But the fact of the matter is that you still can’t buy them. Enter flash zebra. Who you say? I don’t know I reply… All I know is that they are advertising these as compatible with the RadioPopper JrX “Basic” reciever and the RadioPopper JrX “Studio” receiver. (LINK)

Capabilities when used with the “Basic” JrX receiver:
- Provides basic sync but no remote power level control from the JrX transmitter.
- Flash must be set to manual mode and the desired power level set on the flash unit.
- Works with SB-24, SB-25, SB-26, SB-27, SB-28, SB-28DX, SB-80DX, SB-600, SB-800 and SB-900.
Capabilities when used with the “Studio” JrX receiver:
- Provides sync.
- Provides remote power level control set from the JrX transmitter.
- For remote power control the flash must be set to TTL mode.
- Works with SB-24, SB-25, SB-26, SB-27, SB-28, SB-28DX, SB-80DX, SB-600, and SB-800.
- Remote power control is not possible with the Nikon SB-900, but the “Studio” vision of the JrX receiver can function in basic flash set manual mode with the SB-900, as described above.
