Sunpak had a new LED product that caught my eye at the WPPI tradeshow booth this year. Their LED Macro Right Light would be awesome for controlling light on this ring shots and in other macro photography situations.

- • Works on just 3 AAA batteries
Don’t buy this thinking you’ve just found the holy grail of cheap fashion ringflashes (It prices out at $54 from B&H) because it’s going to be of little use for portraits due to it’s lack of power. But for close up work this thing is genius! Especially since you can extend the flexible goose neck an light smaller object from the side, above or below.
