Owners of the hot-off-the-presses Canon 7D are having a few issues shooting Raw and editing their files. While Lightroom 2 will open 7D Raw files (not without peril), it won’t open mRaw files.
The typical solution for people shooting mRaw with the 7D has been to go to Canon’s DPP software. However, users of the new Lightroom 3 Beta have noticed that Lightroom 3 will import and open 7D mRaw files.
While the Lightroom 3 Beta is very much a beta (some buttons aren’t even hooked up yet), this is an interesting option for those out on the bleeding edge.

I’ve noticed that the Lightroom Beta 3 conversions of 7D files is not right. The color balance is off, and tends to move strongly in the Green direction. So I’ve been using DPP until the new upgrade comes out
James, could you just set a camera preset to tweek the colors automatically and non-destructively within LR3 beta?
