Got a jailbroken iPhone? Been sitting on your hands and hitting cancel on that iPhone OS 3.1.2 update window each and every time you plugin your phone to charge or sync?
Wait no longer! Thanks to hacker Geohat, and his little jailbreak dubbed blackra1n, you can reportedly hack free your iPhone very little effort.
So, what is blackra1n? blackra1n is a 30 second ALL device 3.1.2 jailbreak
He does offer this warning to iPhone 3G and 3GS unlockers…
Warning 3g and 3gs unlockers, do not upgrade to 3.1.2 using iTunes if you want to keep your unlock. Baseband cannot be downgraded. Check out the dev team’s offerings. Also blackra1n doesn’t hacktivate.
I personally have not tried this jailbreak yet and to that end we/me at the DWF photographers blog would love to hear from anyone who has tried it via the comments section below.
