Brought to our attention by the National Post, the city of Toronto digitally added an African-Canadian gentleman to a photo of a family of otherwise racially ambiguous origin for the cover of its “Fun Guide” to make the city seem more “inclusive.” The original stock photo image and the new and improved cover can be seen below.

Toronto photoshops black guy into ad

“You won’t find a more inclusive organization than us,” said Kevin Sack, Toronto’s director of strategic communications. Even if they have to fake it!

I’m not sure whether we should be more insulted by the failed attempt at faking “diversity” or the miserably poor photoshop work. Also, couldn’t they have found a better stock image of a smiling African-Canadian guy to graft on there?  Where’s that guy looking, anyway?
