Well we all knew this day would come. Twitter would find a way to potentially monetize themselves! It’s like our little baby is all grown up. So what am I going on about?
This morning the blogshpere, twitter and the land of make believe are all a flutter with the rumor that Twitter is about to launch paid business accounts featuring analytics and tracking tools. But don’t worry, Mr. Casual twitter user! Twitter will still be free if you don’t want the advanced tools they plan on offering.

UPDATE: It looks like the first business feature is already out and all you multi-shooter studios will love this one. Contributor accounts that allow you to multiple people post to one account!

How do they seperate accounts for us photographers and other creatives.. who work for ourselves, frequently under our own names?

Hi Paul.. They don’t yet as all their proposed features are not out yet but if I was a betting man I’d guess it will be an opt-in thing. They won’t force a business account on anyone. More like if you want to use the feature you sign-up.
Paul, add “photo” to the end of your personal twitter account to make the separation. Just one idea.
