This brings the number of iPhone photography related apps to something close to a billion and one at my last count. But before you dismiss it, take a look at Second Shootr as it certainly stands out in the crowd. The Features:
- Store detailed information about your clients, ranging from their names and addresses to their wedding theme or name of the evening band.
- Contact your clients from within the app by Phone and Email, or check their location using the in-built map.
- Store everything you need to know about the wedding guests and officials. Second Shootr could prompt you with the name of the Best Man, or store the Vicar’s contact details for later reference.
- Plan the day’s shots. Second Shootr will help you to remember the must-have shots you’ll need to take on the day. Once you’ve taken the picture, you can mark it as complete, leaving Second Shootr to tell you exactly how many shots you have yet to take.
- Know the day’s upcoming events. Second Shootr is there to give you a gentle reminder to let you know where you need to be on the day, and at what time.
- Ensure you have all your kit with you. Just cross off the items as you pack them into your bags in the morning, and check them back in again when you’re packing up from the wedding ready to go home.
- Keep on top of your day-to-day wedding photography tasks both before and after the wedding.
I like what I see so far, if anyone has first-hand experience with the second shootr program I’d love to hear from you in the comments below.

Hoping something like this comes out for the blackberry!
Just downloaded it. Looks great from what I’ve seen. Would be amazing if there was a desktop version that you could sync to. Typing on the iPhone isn’t my forte!
Pretty pricey for an iPhone app. I suggest getting some out to some people to review so they can leave some feedback. 7$ and no feedback will stop a lot of people cold. It looks like a cool app though, I’ll be keeping my eyes on it.
