The vote software doesn’t seem to be working for everyone. I know two people that tried to vote over the holidays. Both were refereed to a twit page – where they still could not successfully cast a vote.
Scott upon voting you are taken to the poll. It should have registered their vote.
Yeah, I saw that Mark. I was there when one of em tried to vote. This page opened the twit page (poll) where they again tried to vote and nothing was registered. Does one have to have a twitter account to vote?
I think I probably would have opted out of participation if I felt this was going to be a popularity contest based of social (network) persuasion. Especially considering the probability that many votes are not by people in this industry… no biggy though, ya win some ya learn some
Scott you do not need an account at all. Anyone can vote. But each ip can vote only once. Perhaps that is what you encountered.
I was out of town. The computers /connections in question had never visited this blog before.
GO 18! Nana votes for the very best every time, and I vote for you!
Can someone tell me where the heck the actual site or link is to vote? I haven’t been able to find it?

The voting is now closed.
Scott this had nothing to do with social media other than I used that service to create the poll. You do not need to participate or join twitter in order to vote.
Mark – “had nothing to do with social media ”
Why do you explain the number of votes?
How were votes accessed?
Why were votes cast for each entry?
Why did voters choose to vote for each candidate?
I don’t care about wining or losing the bag.
I don’t see how the contest was about the images submitted.
I made the error in believing this was a photographer’s contest based on providing interesting imagery.
*How – do you explain the number of votes?
Scott you are correct this was not a photography skill contest at all and of course people would ask their friends or family to vote for them. It wasn’t a judged contest.
