The codemonkeys behind one of the world’s most popular CMS/blogging platform have tweaked the upcoming WordPress 3 release and have issued a second beta.
The new beta focuses on the new menu user interface, as well as on improved import and export features.
This is not the sort of thing for the faint of heart, and you probably don’t want to be running your main blog off Beta software, but if you wanted to take it for a spin around the block, kick the tires, you can download the new beta from the link above, and, if you really want to live on the edge, you can try the new Tester’s plugin, which allows WordPress to automatically update your blog to the latest nightly build.
WordPress powers many blogs, and even full websites, for photographers. The final version of WordPress 3 is expected in about a month, and will role in many of the features of WordPressMU, the multi-user version of WordPress.
