By sheer bizarre convoluted series of events I ended up with two 17" MacBook pros- the one I got on my birthday last Wednesday as photo describes, and the one a groom from Apple ordered without confirming with Michael (for my birthday-through a different email for birthday secrecy) which is slower but has the 300gb harddrive we want. It arrived by FedEx today! I had already opened the first so will pay a $300 restock fee if I return it- which is essentially the discount we got (10%). Therefore I will sell the first one, which has been turned on and had some software added but I will have it wiped at the Genius Bar, for 3500- it is brand new, unused, and I would love a home for it at the price we paid. Includes 3 year extended warranty- you can see it would normally be 3548 plus tax- this means getting it for that and no tax.
