For those of you that got the D700 & can't afford a NEW wide lens,(or are not willing to go into even more into debt for the 14~24 like I am about to....) here's a great deal. Only reason I did not classify this as Excellent is because the grip is a bit grayed from handling and there are maybe 3 light scuff marks on the barrel.
Otherwise it is optically Excellent and very clean. Zoom, focus & aperture rings move smooth & true.
Incredibly sharp lens and has less Chromatic Aberration than the 17~35. I'll post some of the great images I've gotten with this lens later.
It's been sitting in my Film equip bag for years and really needs someone to love it again. Tested it yesterday with the D700 and it's still a GREAT lens.
