I purchased a custom Ontrax Track System for my studio in January for the purpose of hanging multiple muslins and having an easy way to change them out during a shoot. The system works wonderfully for senior shoots and family shoots when you are changing backgrounds and don't want the downtime associated witht hem.
The system can be easily increased in size by ordering additional pieces. This is a 3 wall system that was 7 feet on the left, 17 feet on the back wall, 13 feet on the right. The side walls allow you to store the muslins out of the way during a shoot. The tracks allow you to hang muslins with grommets on them, but I also purchased 3 bags of muslin clips for use with muslins that do not have grommets. The clips hold the muslins securely and do not harm the muslins themselves. I also have one pair of tie backs that allow you to pick up one long muslin off of the ground for additional storage space.
I am including the following:
- one 3 wall Ontrax custom track system 7x17x13 with corner tracks and carriers for 8 muslins.
- 30 muslin clips (use 3 to 10 clips per 10' background)
