I've been using this battery with my Photogenic 320B lights for power on location. It works great, holds a good charge and in good condition. A little over a year old. The CZ flash cable gives you additional power to power your Canon 580 flash as needed and increases your flashes recycle time.

Any flash. For example, I have the that fits the canon 580s (CZ flash cable). The Nikon equivalent is called a CD, if I am correct. (if that's your poison  ) :
