I want to explain why this is ideal for archiving.
I quit using DVDs for archiving because:
- they can get damaged more easily
- it still doesn't seem clear how long they really last
- it's a pain to burn them
- you cannot add something

Hard disks are so much faster, reliable and convenient. And if you consider that you one or maybe two big hard drives should be enough to archive your complete season.

So if you have all your stuff from each season on one drive and have a nice catalog with iView or CDFinder or what ever, it's so easy to find and retrieve stuff.

And with this enclosure you just have ONE enclosures sitting on your desk. All the archive hard drives get a tray and can be stored neatly in a shelf. Sweet.
