DWF - Let's start off with a little bio, tell us a little bit about yourself.

 

ARTHUR - I was born at the age of zero. It was good to see the surroundings. Since then all I do is capture it, by my eyes and by the eye of my camera. I wish I was an adult. Some time when I grow up, perhaps at the age of 70 (God, help me to cut my eye-teeth), I will tell you what my life has been about, but now... Every day is a brand new one. My bio is still being shaped up.

 

DWF - How did you become a wedding photographer?

 

ARTHUR - I became a wedding photographer by sheer chance! I was always asocial. I had never shot a portrait till a friend of mine asked me to photograph his wedding. I perceived then, it was just what I was looking for and what I lacked of - communication. Since then I haven't shot any picture without a human being in it.

 

DWF- Who or what inspires you as an artist?

 

ARTHUR - People. Definitely, people. The more they trust me as an artist, the more inspiration I get from them. Solidarity during a shoot - that's what inspires me mostly.

 

DWF- If we needed a photographer today why would we book you? What makes you unique?

 

ARTHUR - I'm just like you. Why "like"? Because if you like what I do you'd like me to do what I like. A pure ideal between an artist and a customer.

 

DWF- If you had to pick a favorite "Tool of the Trade" what would it be? and why?

 

ARTHUR - It's my goodwill as an impartial artist who never betrays his artistic faith. If we humored uninitiated customers' tastes, stiff stand-ups in front of a sightseeing (worthy venue) would be the greatest works of art. The tool is a unique product, or an ability of representing reality by artistic means the way YOU like it. Much more efficient, than any marketing thing.
