A Holiday Gift for Members |
We’d
like to wish you the happiest holiday season! And while we
wish we could put our gift under your tree, that would be
creepy.
So we’ve put it on the DWF, where today, you’ll find a
little box in the very bottom right corner of your screen:
DWF Live chat. You can chat directly with any DWF member
on your DWF friends list. Get help, say hi, whatever. All you
have to do is friend your fellow members, join or create a
chatroom.

Look What You Did! |
We
need to say thank you to the many DWF members who made
generous donations to The Soul Society, during December.
Our DWF Convention Mentor Auction and the Finao King
and Queen contest raised
$11,700!The Soul Society
was started by Jerry Ghionis and Melissa Tirado
to aid Third World orphans, and the best part is that your
donations won’t be plowed back into fund-raising. The money
goes directly to the cause. Thank you so much for your
incredible generosity this holiday season!

Tough Love? Nah. Just Love. |
So
many members are afraid to post images. But here’s how it
goes: Present a specific problem, and you’ll find a host of
DWF Pro Members racing to solve it.
Check out this discussion, in which a member frets about the
quality of her reception shots. DWF Pro members offer their
critiques and suggestions. Nobody gets hurt, and one brave
photographer got some wonderful help with her work. Posting
images on the DWF isn’t painful.
