The Market is Changing! |
You’ve
heard it over and over: Customers have DSLRs, our industry is
changing, it’s getting harder to turn a profit.
Some well-respected DWF members are in the Pro Business
Forum, looking at different industries that have been
radically changed by technology. They’ve come up with some
great advice for adapting to OUR changing market. Plus
you’ll find links to some great background material.

Too Busy to Post? |
This
is a chill week for so many photographers—why not drop in on
the DWF, and post a comment?
If you’re always “too busy,” maybe today’s a great day to
introduce yourself, offer an opinion, or even lend someone a
little help. Posting is the only way to let people know who
you are, and THAT’S where the networking begins. We even have
a great place for you to get started..

Flying to DWF 2010? |
There’s
a lot of confusion over the new air travel policies enacted
over Christmas weekend.
DWF members who’ll be flying to Nashville for our annual
convention have a place to share their flying experiences:
Travelling with cameras, what to expect from airport
security, and the ins-and-outs of this latest air scare.
Please post your holiday flight experiences, and help fellow
DWF photographers

It's The Talent. Not The Tools. |
You
want that new lens, that strap, that cool filter. But here’s
proof it’s not the equipment—it’s the artist that makes the
difference.
Spend a few moment in this DWF discussion, as you watch a
beautiful Ukrainian artist bring an audience to tears, as she
tells the story of World War II-- using nothing more than a
pile of sand. It’s simply amazing.
